Who is UniSec?

UniSec was founded in 2019 as a continuation of a previous IT security company, where the principals had worked for over 18 years. The goal remains the same, to create a suite of services that would provide small and medium sized corporations with “Fortune 500” levels of IT security, at a reasonable price and without the operational complexity usually associated with such services. UniSec has the staff and experience to provide contemporary security at a reasonable price, as well as the consulting, remediation and support that goes along with a complete Cybersecurity and compliance solution.

Glenn Kramer

President

Glenn was President of Network Security Services, Inc., a IT security company, focusing on financial, healthcare, government, retail and other regulated industry clients. Previously, he was CEO of Hometouch, Inc., a software based home automation company and President of InfoHighway International Inc. As Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Classic Configurations, Inc. he was the architect of a national computer dealer franchise with $20 million in annual revenues. He has also served in various management positions for National Business Systems, Mylee Digital Sciences and SCM Corp. and served as a management and marketing consultant to a number of industry leaders such as Hewlett Packard, Compaq, Lexmark, Digital, Novell and MicroAge.

Tony Howlett

Executive Vice President/CISO/DPO

Mr. Howlett has been the Chief Information Security Officer at SecureLink and CTO at Codero Hosting. He was Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Network Security Services, Inc. He was also founder and CTO of InfoHighway Communications Corp., a leading ISP and CLEC. He is a frequent speaker and writer on security, the Internet and technology.

Michael Villarreal, CISSP, CISA, PMP

Vice President

Michael is a banking and retail cyber security expert and is a 30+ year veteran of the tech industry, bringing a wealth of experience in hardware, software, Internet, cloud and compliance solutions and oversight to our company. Michael has ample experience in both physical and electronic security and has conducted hundreds of ISO/IEC 27001 based audits and reviews.

He was a bank and compliance auditor for 5 years with Network Security Service (NSS).

He was also the President of the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² Alamo Chapter from 2015-2018.

Carl Lyles, CISSP, CMNA

With 28 years IT experience, Carl is an integral part of our audit and compliance team. He has experience in hardware, software, system
administration, network engineering and info security in an enterprise environment He has held positions as CTO, Cyber Security Assessor, Network Engineer, System
Administrator and IT Project Manager. He holds the CISSP and CMNA certifications as well as a Masters in Cybersecurity. He was the Membership Chair for the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC)² Alamo Chapter

Kieran Howlett, BS, MBA, PMP

Application and Code Auditor

Kieran has led the design, development and manufacturing of devices and companion mobile application and AWS backend including WIFI and Bluetooth device communication and Implemented an AWS backend to support heavy concurrent load with auto scaling servers. He was CTO of GoFish Cam, a IoT device company and previously an engineering manager at Baker-Hughes, a global oil field service company
